Well, I am off on vacation to the south ya'll, so no Road America for me . I do not leave until Tuesday, so hopefully I can throw something pretty quick in on Monday/Tuesday morning .

Hi...I hope not to become the trouble maker here.
First of all, i agree with Arunas (hi Arunas! Βy the way, your lap time was EXCELLENT!)
Second, i also agree with Dennis.(It's the way it is! Go, run, run! No reason to have a standing start the way they do it on the show.)O.K. so far!
The problem is not only if you start from pit lane... you can start from there, where the "Boing" starts to take of, or from the other side of the track (or Airport !).
You can cut the track from everywhere.
Even from the grass!
You can make straight every "s" of the track,
It's a painted track just to run in a single player mode ( in my opinion )
Who will cheat and who will run honestly in this track, will be unknown...
I think there is no reason to try a lap record here...

Really, really interesting and fun cars, especially considering they do differ quite a lot in terms of handling (brakes in particular). I'd recommend to give them all a try for a few laps before settling on one

That being said, I'm in!

No problems with expressing opinions!

I understood all the problems and accept that we can only trust another driver to maintain two wheels on track all times. We expect them to as they have signed on to respect them.

The event is for those that want to drive it, that have the time. There is no requirement and other tracks will be available. Last week only ~twelve drivers chose to run, certainly there are more than 12 Race07 drivers coming out for events. Many chose to not run for any reason they choose. I only offer it up for summer fun.

Thanks Bjorn. There was a bit of "follow the leader" going on this evening. Everyone knows the track from TV but never do you get to see a whole lap from the drivers position for sure. For those that don't know, it's a "figure 8" track!
