Lol that was with low assists on. My main problem is when changing down gears, it just spins off track and obviously I need to gage the revs but flippin heck! It's really really hard for my minimal skills and I've got limited time tonight and tomorrow to get to grips with it.

Keep it in 3rd all the way around the track; there is a corner you could go to 2nd (the hairpin at the end) but 3rd and 4th will get you round much safer and you won't lose much (if any) time. Most tracks you'll not need to drop down to 2nd.
