F1 2010 Making a 3 season career into a 7 season career

Is there anyway to make a 3 season career into a 7 season career?

I started on a 3 season career, but after a while I want more oppertunities to drive for more teams, but I don't want to restart my career...

Any help, or am I stuck and have to start from the beginning?
