Logitech profiler keeps crashing

Every time I try to start my Logitech profiler it crashes. Has anybody any idea what is causing thas and know how to fix it? It doesn't display any message, but I waited ten minutes and it didn't do anything.

Is it stuck on the part where it says "Loading Database" or something? I have that problem too, but it fixes itself after a while for some reason.

If it is the same problem that @Eric Stranne has, I used to have this problem for AGES since switching to Windows 7, I only found out what it was the other day

In Logitech Profiler, look through the tabs up the top to find 'Global Settings' or something (I'm not at my PC at the moment so I can't check). Then, turn off 'Search for new games at startup. I was so pleased with myself when I worked out that this was what made it take ages to load
