how the pfff do you get gold on the 1000m challenge ic-5 please help.
oh yeah hello everybody, i hope your all enjoying gt5

got my super licence and only got about 6 gold i realy couldnt be arsed with all the messing and i realy couldnt see the point as no car asks you have any kind of licence to drive it.
So whats the point in having the licence ?

It counts towards your % progression, you earn XP which you need to level up and last but not least you win cars

As you can see you need to draft from car to car and for those 'races' it is important to time your last move. Sometimes you finally get P1 and than being passed again because P2 also uses drafting.

i've always had trouble with the licences i remember in gt3 it drove me mad. i don't really think anyone enjoys doing them

I do enjoy them. SOme are boring, some are really usefull to be a better driver. Especially when you see your are slower or faster driving a different line/move. Because you see your previous (fastest) ghost also. If you only go for Bronze or Silver, it can become boring. But if you like a challenge, try them all on Gold. Satisfaction if you finally get the medal LOL

Okay thanks for the advice and any guides made for the licence tests.Maybe I'm rushing in the game.

I always feel happy and sad at the same time when I golden the last license test. I like them a lot

It really helps, if you deactivate "active-steering" and set "traction control" to 4. "AKS" can stay default.

These are driving helpers, but after a short time they are mostly a barreer, because the are reducing your acceleration to keep you on the track. Rally and tight corners are slowed down by these helps, too.
