And I also don't like how you brought the "highlights"...

We want to see the first and maybe second lap, and after that you show some good moments like epic overtakes and some crashes (Not too many if there was) Don't forget to show the GT cars also when you do this, too many time highlights only showed the top leading cars (In this case LMP's)

Yea i know highlight is the wrong word. See it as more of artistic way instead,
Designed you give you a certain feeling rather then checking who is ahead of who.

This is a video i made using my GoPro strapped to my head and using my iPhone to record me racing. The timing is off just a bit but it turned out Ok for an experiment.
