just my opinion but i belive caterhams would work quite well for oval racing

Caterhams could work, i just don't like the inherit entry understeer that plaques it specially at ovals.. It's so strong that no setup can remove that so it's just understeering everywhere in ovals..

It is hard to find a suitable car for ovals, it's such a narrow set of features: they need to have power but not too much, needs downforce but not too much, needs a lot of drag and still not messing with front downforce too much. Caterham fits inside those parameters.. F3000 would be good but it lacks power to get it really going fast enough.. FVR V8 will work on ovals, i'm pretty sure about that. I'm just not a fan of Nascar type classes.
