"Incompatible game version" - Replay problem

Hi, Im trying to open up an old version of a hotlap I did and won a big competition with.

however I´m getting this error "Incompatible game version" - Replay problem

Can anyone share some knowledge?

What car/track??

You will need the exac same mod (if any) and track to be able to play the replay. PLUS if you set this lap before the latest patch (around 8 months ago) then it won't play.

Ok, I did it in the demo of race07 in a big competition Virtual Grand Prix before the game was out. Using that race07fulldemo.exe it´s still not working.

Only possible way I could see to get this replay to work would be to either load the demo of Race07 that you used for the competition..
OR
Install an Offline Install of the earliest CD or DVD copy of Race07 (your definite it wasn't Race06?) and MAKE SURE it is NOT allowed to update, if the replay Used to work in Race07 then installing from an early (unpatched) CD/DVD will give you an install that 'should' be compatible with the replay - You could then use FRAPS or something to record you hotlap so you could then uninstall the old unpatched Race07 from your machine?
