was working earlier today but now I cant connect.

Well, a friend of mine just got kicked to desktop midway through a lengthy offline race with the AI due to the servers going down. This is a less than endearing side to R3E particularly as I've spent some time singing the game's praises.

Personally I think it's imperative that a solution is found so R3E can be played offline without disruption.

Things look OK now. Maintenance is over but we will keep monitoring things behind the scenes. The problem was a hardware failure on the server host which was out of our control. Very bad timing indeed.
