F1 2010 How do you turn the ghost car off?

If I'm running just behind the ghost car I often can't see my braking point. Unless I'm quicker than it, I find it more a hinderance than a help. Is there anyway to turn them off completely?

Yes as far as I know it was patched. When I first started it said there was an update and downloaded and installed it so I assume hat was the patch.

many people seem to have got different version of the game.. lolz..

you can turn it off, go to your dashboard and your f1 game on the saved games section of your hard-drive, go into it and their should be 2 files, one for your saved game date and another for the ghost date....just delete the ghost data your laps still stay posted on the leaderboards but no ghosts

This might not be what you want to here but this is what has happened to me. I have the ps3 version and I was extremely perturbed by the ghost car, however since I can't turn it off in my version( i have tried) I now don't mind it and it actually helps figure out just how late you can brake. If you don't know the track you just follow the ghost around until you are faster and then you can set faster and faster laps.
