I have been trying offline GTR2 Championship series with F1 1971 MOD. Excellent Mod by the way. The problem I encounter is after running a Qually and then continuing to the race, I lose the Qually grid and get random grid set up. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

You can't skip any qualifications. You have to use time acceleration instead of skipping. If you complete qualifying normally or accelerated than you should get your correct qualifying position.

In gdb menu/championship you should add this line :
Skip qualify1
