Literally error or just a pause due to disk being used?
Try rebooting PC, killing Disk using processes or restarting steam

total waste of time for me. restarts only seem to happen when I had a clean start, but never when I could need one. race 2 wasn't better either, almost spun at the end of the formation lap, then a bump in the back dropping me a bunch of places, a few more after a spin. was fed up after that and quit.
