G27 Shift in AC - How to use

Hello all,

I'm new to the forums and let me first say hello to you all. Well I recently purchased a G27 and I have AC as well. I was wondering how can I use the separate shifter and the clutch combo etc. I've checked the Use Separate H shifter option(SP?) in the menus but it doesn't do anything in game. I've set each gear using the shifter in the game as well. Is this feature not active in the pre-release version we're playing now? Please let me know. Also, what racing games DO use the G27's shifter that you're aware of. I own F1 2012, AC, Grid 1, and Euro Truck Driving Simulator 2. I'm a noob to all of this racing sim stuff though. Thanks in advance for your replies!

Hi and welcome.
It will only become operational on cars which have H-pattern shifting in real life. Like the Abarth 500, KTM, BMW e30, most of the Lotus road cars etc.
Cars with sequential stick/paddles in real life will only use the paddles in game.

Get driving and you will soon work it out!

I'd also suggest to use the small Fanaleds software to get the rev-indicator of the G27 working in AC. It's available for free here: http://www.fanaleds.com/downloads
