Does anybody have a good plr or controller profile for the Logitech G25. The lack of force is killing me
Thanks for any help
Thanks for any help
Previously, I had the auto-clutch enabled and was shifting with paddles. With the G25 (auto-clutch disabled), I have to break so much earlier since I need more time to downshift. ..... Any tips would be much appreciated! :smile-big:
The extra pressure from the brake spring can take some getting used to with the G25 (it's much stiffer), so you may be under-braking without realising it. As a test, you could try swapping the brake to the clutch pedal just to see. However, I wouldn't recommend that long term because once you get used to the stiffer brake pedal, it gives you more "progressive" control.
When adjusting steering rotation, it is essential to remember adjusting steering lock as well. Anything below 26deg or so is undriveable with 900deg lock. I usually use 29 to max lock, and always 900deg rotation. That's the closest I can get to real life atm.
Better still Bram, here is the FFB Guide and tutorial.
It is excellent and explains what each parameter does and how to adjust it to get what you want.
It works for optomizing GTL, GTR2, and Race 07.
Here is mine Bram. I love it now, after following the tutorial I found at NG on how to set it up.
GTL has never felt better to me now.

....can you tell me what value in the PLR file i change to stop the wheel turning to one side and what value to set it at ?
It does it on the menu before you start the race it pulls to the right and while racing it feels like its pulling a little bit and for some reason when I straghten the wheel it shakes like I am on the grass can any one help with this ???
I don't think there is anything in the PLR file that can cause that problem. It sounds like a wheel calibration issue but, a couple of thinhgs to check:
In the game, under Options/Controls then Controller Force (3rd wheel icon at the bottom), do you have reverse effects ticked?
Have you tested the steering calibration in the game window under Controller Options?
Does it only do this with my FFB Profile, have you tested the game with a default profile?
