FFB controller has Auto FFB?

When driving the Alfa Giulia TZ, there is an auto ffb button that shows up on the ffb controller. Pressing that button gave me a FFB adjustment automatically after my first lap and then wrote an .ini. Does anyone know how to get this working on all the cars? It seemed to work better than the auto ffb app which I find inconsistent most of the time.
