PC1 FFB After patch 2.0

If I was still driving in PCars I would not expect too much improvement since Ian Bell think it is already close to perfection, and even better at simulating than pro in house simulator, no less, as per his own word from the Project Car forum

No wonder some of his post can be perceived as arrogant, who knows? he might even be believing his own hype, it make me think of the president of Hooly in the HBO series : Silicon Valley.:roflmao:

I made a test and set the FFB like i had last year. Tireforce 25 and FFB Strength 60 in the control settings and i left everything in the car setup FFB to default. I think it feels better than my settings i posted before.

Tested with the McLaren F1 GTR @ Silverstone GP

And again everything has changed after some days not playing Cars and there wasn´t any Update. FFB felt complete different and weird again. First thing i noticed was the strenght seems to be back to normal. I could set it in the Car setup to 22-26 where it was before weird things happend. Problem now was that i only had an strong center spring effect and thats it in terms of ffb effects. I also noticed that the yellow bar hits the top of its clipping monitor even when i lowered the strenght.

I tried all good ffb settings i figured out before since release but nothing changed.

And now i gave this a try: http://www.racedepartment.com/threads/project-cars-thrustmaster-tx-settings.107973/

He changed basicly every setting you can find for ffb in the menu.

I did some laps at Nurb GP Ginetta GT3 and the center spring is gone and it feels way normal again.

The big question is how will it feel tomorrow ^^

Its very weird whats going on here and its a pain in the ass.

Glad I'm not the only one this happens to. Seems like every time I fire the game up it feels different than the last time I played it. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's too heavy, sometimes it get really limp in the turns. It's quite discouraging.

By "big names" he probably meant something like his neighbour Fionnula Tambling-Goggin. That´s probably also the reason he can´t mention, as the name is hard to pronounce and write correctly.

The first link will give you 5 files. Put them all into your pcars documents then when yuou want to use one, just rename it to FFB. These will be your car settings that you would normally access in edit car setup in the garage. If you put all those to zero, and you're getting ffb then you know you've got jacks files working properly.

Icarus really nailed these settings. These are for Options-Controls- Configuration and then calibrate FFB.

The last link is what I posted in the Pcars forums with the latest settings. Go to post 15 and that is what I have now.

Thanks, I'll try them out tonight. I've been using the Jacks files from his latest stuff that I found. I think I'm using the one with enhanced lateral SOP... etc.. (I'm at work so I can't remember the name of it exactly)
I'll try your latest ones too.
