Hey guys

Okay here are the skins created by me over the last few weeks.

38 in total, 19 Chevrolet and 19 Peugeot.

All completely fictional of course, but I hope you enjoy them.

I have given all the cars different numbers and names from the originals in game, so you should be able to run them alongside the original skins.

Pretty new to the modding aspect on the rfactor platform, and this is my first attempt.

Haven't found a way to have the game read a new RFM file hence the reason for the new numbers and names.

A lot of drivers have not the money to buy rfactor2.

I try to release this mods for the game stockcar extreme drivers.
I shall release this mod with marcas physics if possible.

You are going to a lot of effort for little reward, if you are using stock Marcas physics, they are obviously not the same as the true physics for the Civic that ISI have made for it.

As for using Reiza physics as Patr10t said the HDV's are hidden, I have tried myself a while back to get some idea of the Reiza physics for a converted mod and it is a no go.

I am just not sure advertising that you are using ISI content is a good idea. And Reiza's HDV files are hidden for a reason.

Crack on if you want it's your choice, but these types of mods I would keep to myself or upload to one of the many other sites that are full of content.

I speak from experience. I have been down this path myself (never again), and no one wins and all it does is fragment the community and cause arguments.

We already have the Marca's and we already have the Civic in Rfactor 2 don't really see the need myself.

so because you can drive the civic in rf2 theres no need to convert it to another game? cmon whats this for a stupid reason?

maybe other people wont play rf2 but want to drive a civic in gsc? why do people mod? to have content they want on their favorite game!

but with your reason everyone can stop modding and buy every game to drive every car -.-

today i want to drive a aston martin gt3 so i play pcars... yesterday i wanted to drive a 458 gte so i played ac and maybe tomorrow i will play gsc because there i can drive on interlagos -.-

Well hang on a second, the excuse that rfactor 2 is expensive really depends on the currency of the buyer like me.

Rfactor 2 costs $ 43,99 dollars, which in Reais(brazilian currency) would cost R$ 169,33 Reais, in my currency that is ALOT of money.

so yeah rfactor 2 CAN be expensive.

Like I say it's no bother for me, crack on if you want. But from personal experience it aint worth it. As for Rf2 being expensive it isn't when you consider cost vs driving hours even taking into account currency fluctuations.

Still does not make it okay to take ISI's work just because you consider it expensive.

I like the Lexus LFA just because it is mega expensive doesn't give me the right to just steal one.

Well there is a Honda Civic coming from Reiza, have patience.


@Lazarou as much as I love rF2 and don't want to see its content being ported to GSC at all rF2 price now in Brazil is totally unrealistic and does not worth it no matter how good it is. I already said ISI they must change or they'll lose space, some good forums aren't even considering rF2 when they change the sim for their online leagues.

I am not sure how ISI can do anything about Brazil's mismanagement of their economy, misuse of natural resources and rampant inflation. But that is another subject.

Heh you don't understand anything do you? See so many other game have different prices for different countries (there is a part of Steam that allow you to check it if you want an example). ISI does not.
It's not only our disgusting socialist politicians that are the problem (they are the main one tho), ISI gotta do their part too even if not by much at least should show interest.

And about leagues going other sims instead of rF2 I'm not talking about the ones in Brazil since I don't race in local leagues, I'm talking about people from US and Europe

I don't understand nothing, okay mate. I can't even be arsed to take the bait.

RF2 will be out on Steam in the near future hopefully Brazil will still have a currency that is worth more than the paper it is printed on then hopefully for you boys you will get some value for money. I genuinely hope you get to experience RF2 with the content that was made for it.

Simi, Not sure if we misunderstand each other, but to get sounds to work the DTM_2013 folder should be in the root of your Sounds directory, not in the StockCarV8 sub-folder.

This is incorrect: GameData/Sounds/StockCarV8/DTM_2013
It should be: GameData/Sounds/DTM_2013

Shame really...so many converted mods from many titles all over the interweb. One more would not hurt but I DO understand the arguments put forward.

Not trying to stoke a fire here guys, just my thoughts.

chill out lads, no reason to jump at each other's throats
every sim needs as much scratch made mod content as possible, or at least seriously re-worked one, like Patrick is doing (masterfully I might say), if it goes for conversions.
Bad and rushed conversions arm the sim itself and in the end, spoil fun in the user.
There are not many modders in the SCE community, and I can understand for a single person it might be too much to create scratch content given real life commitments. But maybe those who are able can create a modding team? Like it is for other sims including RF2. I know in general of Apex Modding, Radiator Springs, etc.
A SCE committed modding team would be great for those involved, for the sim, and for us

on the other hand, had a brazilian girlfriend once.. daaaang
