Ryder CTF Editor

version 1.2.2013.0106
With this program you can edit CarTuningFile (CTF,CSV) files for the EGO engine games. These files contain car performance data.

Features:
  • Intuitive GUI -- The graphics user interface has been built to allow maximum ease of use when editing files.
  • Easy Compare -- Aside from the files' data being lined up side by side, with the click of a button the program will show you all the differences between the files.
  • Community Involvement -- Schema files for each game are in xml format so that modders can edit descriptions of their findings for the file's values and share them with each other.
  • Open With -- Allows you to choose "Open With" and select this program to open CTF files.

Let me know if there are any problems. I encourage you to do the "community involvement" thing that way we can all figure out what certain values mean!

Does anyone have a good ctf file for anti spin? My car spins as soon as i turn a little bit at all speed even very low speed :( i need to edit this file so it would stop spinning every time i turn.

I have FINALLY found a way to get rid of the ridiculous, and endlessly frustrating rear-tyres spinning on my laptop!!

I went to all the "_grip" entries in the track_model table (q1_grip, q2_grip, q3_grip, race_grip) and fixed them by changing the grip levels (just by making them higher). Duh.

Maldonado blowing up his engine in Korea (someone pushed me off-track from behind at the start but I decided to keep on going, from P22: very nice come back!!)

Now I can race 100% in Monaco, Singapore and Korea without spinning out in the wilderness or always ending in the rails or walls!!!

Thank you :) it worked

It doesnt work with DiRT Rally at the moment.
Would be great if someone could create a CTF Schema file for DiRT Rally, or maybe tell us how to create one.

Edit:
I have been scanning through the ctf files (xxx_standard_gravel.ctf) to find the engine power data. I was searching for a list of increasing double or float values but unfortunately i was unable to find anything useful so far. Can anyone help me with this?
