Controlling track polygon length?

Is there a way to control the track polygons' length? As I recall the polygon length stretches and then creates new polygons as the threshold for a new polygon is reached.

Why am I asking? Because I'm working on an airport track that has 10'x10' or 12'x12' concrete squares. This is less of a problem for rF1, because you'd just make the texture fit exactly, but I plan on converting to rF2 and would like to have 1:1 polygons:squares for realroad.

Any thoughts?

Go to your tracks list (

) and select the 'linear' panel spacing option. If you edit the terrain it'll look really strange where it joins the track, so it might be best to do it manually in non-linear mode (which won't be exact of course) before switching to linear to tidy things up. And don't forget the panel length in the cross section window.
