Just because someone buys you, doesn't mean you are "no more" Kunos were bought by 505 Games, but they still exist. Rockstar games were bought by Take 2 but they still exist.

Grid, Dirt5, PCars3, all recent titles from Codemasters gravitate heavily to arcade side.
Don't see it as a big loss for sim racing.

pCars 3 were already well underway before Codemasters bought SMS, so that's probably more of an SMS decision than Codemasters.
Grid never was a sim, never meant to be.
The DiRT series alternate between sim-focused and arcade-focused. DR3 is coming.
The F1 series have moved more in to a fine middle-ground where they don't alienate the pick-up racers, while sim racers can have fun as well.

But like I said in another thread about Take Two and Codies here on RD. I can see this causes a big move from cosmetic MTX to "must have" MTX, unless you want a long long looong grind.

I don't like it.
