Can't accelerate

I am probably doing something stupid but I downloaded the 60 min trial version and can't seem to get the car to accelerate. I can shift gears, etc but my speed stays very slow. Any assistance would be appreciated.

You probably need to turn off the pit speed limiter Check in the options, it should be assigned to a key or a button.

Partial success - I was able to get more speed but was only able to get up to about 150k max prior to the trial expiring. I think I will remove the 60 min trial and start over with the lite version to assess whether or not I like it.

Under controls try a different preset - "paddle" for instance and set up the axis and buttons there - and see it works then. I used to have a huge dead zone on my throttle pedal when i started, then I switched to preset "paddle", which solved the issue for me.
