F1 2011 Cannot get Microsoft wheel feedback right after new patch (xbox)

After the new patch, my feedback setting on my microsoft xbox 360 wheel is not the same. Ive tried all the setting with no joy. I used the settings, feedback on and the 3 sliders all to the left and this gave me a nice weight to the wheel with minimal feedback. Now with them settings the wheel acts as if the power supply is not plugged in, i.e no weight at all. Moving wheel weight up one notch or environment up one turns the feedback strength through the roof, not enjoyable at all.
Anyone with a soloution will be greatly appreciated

Sorry cant really help you but i know what you mean, my MS Xbox wheel settings changed with the patch too but its now given me more FFB etc... Got use to it now.

You tried saving your wheel settings via both the main menu and while in game?

i used to have mine really high around the 80% mark but since the patch i have had to change it, environmental settings 10%, feedback strength 20% and wheel weight 10%, it was just too crazy before so i had to lower them but i'm used to them now
