tried the new tyre mod and thought that they lasted too long so i started farting around and came up with this.
3 dry compounds
soft qual tyres which wear at around 3% per lap
medium tyres (around 1 sec slower per lap) wear 2.4% per lap
hard tyres (3 secs slower per lap than medium) wear 1% per lap

yesterday night we had a COR internal fun-event to test more the mod, we have seen that changing session (practice-qualy qualy-race race1-race2) in the car setup the tires switch always to HARD.

Yes, i noticed the same thing during my last test race. This problem happen frequently with mod, not only with the STC one. Now i check between each session my tires in order to not have a very bad surprise

There is a setting in your plr files somewhere which stops EVo from selecting default tyres. I forget what its called, will have a look and post back

downloaded the final build after throwing all the old stuff out, working like a charm, got on STC server no probs, did an offline race with 24 AI, awesome visuals if you are in the pack!!!

Mod feedback.

Wow, its looking soo smart now its all finished. After testing the new tyre files and having some real practice last week I think this is going to look and be one of the best STC seasons.

Well done STC staff, modders etc, really great job.

Thanks. I agree with you Mike, after releasing and testing it for long time I am more sure every day we have done a right decision this time.

One thing that i have noticed, and is very important.
The braking lights, should be alot brighter, in both dry and wet weather its very hard to see.

OK, will try to take care of it, but anyway in the meantime, as I don´t know if it will take days, weeks or months, just try to think you are driving an F1 car...

Im okej with it, have done F1 for many years, but i think it can be a problem for ppl who aint used to cars without good braking light.
