Avast gone mad?

This morning, i opened my PC and saw this!

But after a few minutes, the update could be done without a problem. Very strange.

You know your antivirus is screwed when it thinks its own updates are infected.

My guess is that your system is infected with a virus and so it reports malicious sites on itself to attempt to block updates that might take care of it.

It seems that's a common issue with Avast, and according to them, they are working on it.

Phew, as Jim did i though my system was infected, but it seems not

Glad to hear it wasn't infected Hope Avast gets things squared away some time soon.
