Guys as we could see today while practicing, the pit exit is a blind one (60's style)... we exit from pits directly into the apex of a 250+ km/h turn.

My advice is to use the mini map and don't exit if someone is already near the pit entrance as that is one of the fastest zones of the track.

I know it will be hard to sit parked in the pit exit waiting for a safe opening but... if anyone has some other safer idea...

João,

good point. I would definitely prefer your advice and suggest that everybody do the same thing, to avoid any troubles. It shouldn't be that huge disadvantage since everybody have to wait at least one time in the race.

The server is renamed to RaceDepartment.com #7 on request from the racing stuff. See you tomorrow in Rouen.

Greg ... I just watched the replay and I would say it was actually my fault rather than yours ... really sorry about that.
You had more of a nose in front of me than I could see from in car, and I ran back across the track more than I should/meant to, clipping you as we entered the tight and tricky braking area at the end of the looooong straight where the racing line is just one car's width.

Was tough but fun racing you on the rest of that lap though ... sad that I stuffed it up so we couldn't do some more on lap 2.

Nige .... noooooooooob!!
I had wondered what you were up to on the start finish straight as I saw your car disappear back to the pits :p

guys just a suggestion. when u leave the pit infact for most of the track there is a yellow line deviding the track. i practiced last night to take the first bend on the left side and this allowed the guys coming out of the pit to just get on with it. ye i had to slow a little but its possable and i didnt slow that much. u have plenty of time to see guys leaving the pits with ur mini map to make a change and slow a little to stay on left side.

also if ur going to overtake on finish straight u need to be aware of ppl pitting in.

Great night, great fights and great atmosphere.I was able to see 4 cars in 2 races that had trouble because of braking. Those mini's are crazyness:biggrin:.Can't wait for the next one but i think i will not be able to make for Laguna Seca round:frown:.We'll see.
Thank you guys for a great night and thank you Bram for organising those superb Mini races.

so. if we have to wait in the pits if there are cars coming. at what point do we know that we have to wait. as in...if a car is coming down the straight,at what point does that car have to be at for us to have to wait?

Thanks for catching that, Robert.

Glen, you have a mistake in your ini file. You have not put the correct format for your windows. It should be \"windows_ext=xxx\". I have already amended it my end, so anyone installing the skin-pack should do the same.

It appears theres also a problem with Giorgos Davakos, Water Blue Racing Corvette skin. It is giving mini dump. Had a look and I think there's a problem with the window files. When I compare it to Tobias's both Giorgos's window files are the same size, 1025kb where Tobias's are, 1025kb internal & 1366kb external. Tobias's I know are correct so Giorgos you need to look at that problem before the race. I advise anyone who has installed the skin-pack to delete Giorgos's for the time being until he fixes it or delete the window files and amend the ini file.

I'm sure common sense will prevail :)
