Fantastic race again. had yet again a poor start but managed to get into second on first corner was sticking with Max until last corner on first lap were I found the gravel ( found following a car was very hard as car was very unstable at close quarters) dropped back big time . Managed to close gap up to rob and did the same again at same corner, again at close quarters, downforce gone gravel found . Now was getting very frustrated with myself!
Another slow lap to let tyres cool then started to push again then tyres had faded and loosing time decided to pit for medium put 65 fuel which I thought would get me to the end but as I pitted on lap 10 and not lap 12 was my downfall. So came out of pits and started to push then passed max on main straight A’s he came out of pits, started pushing up to rob again and then managed to get past so started my push and close on peter and Karl keeping an eye on Max behind then Karl was off track and still closing gap to peter got behind peter for a couple of laps just watching myself on that last corner were I had 2 off’s already. this time was a sweet turn for me and had speed to pass Peter on main straight.
So now i have got myself up to first and get a gap going then that’s that.
I look down to see I don’t have the fuel to finish so had to pit again :( THIRD PLACE The End!
Great race guys thanks for another great evening.:)
Well done to all and well done peter on win .
Love this game!

Hi guys, I appreciate I’m very late to the party , and am excited to find some organised Xbox AC racing.

You’ve hidden your Xbox ac racing away, I cannot find the thread through the forum directories, it was luck stumbling on through google.

I see there is an AC race on Saturday - can I join in? How?

Thanks

HI there and welcome to the group. Yes unfortunately we have had to have this series running from within our F1 league area but have been looking into getting it added to it's own dedicated area within the Assetto section for a while, hopefully that will happen.

You are more than welcome to join in with us but we do not race on Saturdays, our races are every fortnight on Sundays. The next race will be on the 25th February at Imola in the Ferrari 312/67. I will be putting the signup for this race here shortly.

A little heads-up to all. I have been in conversation with Bram about this series again and we will probably be moving to the dedicated Assetto area soon. Once this is done I will let you all know so you are aware of where to go for it. This has been my aim for a while as it provides a much better platform for us to bring in new drivers and possibly expand on this series

Just a little question for everyone. With the Assetto section of our virtual world soon to move to the dedicated Assetto area and the new F1 season just 5 weeks away how do you all feel about the possibility of moving our Assetto races to Saturdays instead of Sundays.

Reason being that with the more congested F1 season the gaps to fit in Assetto races will be less than we have previously had and they would therefore be quite irregular. Moving the series to the Assetto area may provide the chance to bring in more drivers but it will be less appealing if races are so fragmented.

This is just to sound out those that wish to race in Assetto and no decisions have yet been taken.

Cheers.

Ok not a problem but this was supposed to be my choices for car and track for next Assetto C  Also it’s going to cost me another £5 something as it’s not included with Game so have to purchase it :( so not sure on this one at the moment

Sorry Neale but when there was no response I went with what Karl had chosen a couple of weeks ago when Matt asked to choose instead. I only saw your Xbox message on Friday night and had already posted here by then. I'm on here daily but much less frequently on the Xbox so always post here as I'm guranteed to see it whereas that's not the case on the console .

Didn't realise not everyone had picked up the Ferrari pack when it was on special back in November.

Anyway, I'll have a word with Karl and see if we swap them around and run your choice this time and his the race after. Give you a bit more time to grab the Ferrari pack.. which is well worth the money btw
