Assetto Corsa Rally Timing - App to improve timing on point-to-point tracks

The initial aim of this app is to help in finding proper starting position, and alerting if a lap will be invalidated by AC Server Manager when a speed trap is set on the startline. Speed traps are a new feature in ACSM version v2.3.4.

For rallying (or hillclimbs) the feature works in combination with "Time Attack", invalid laps are filtered out after each practice session...​

v1.3 - delta timing

The few apps with working Delta timing for linear tracks (Sidekick, Multilaps) sometimes don't work - here's a new solution.
The delta timing comes in a separate app window, a third app window allows reference time selection.
You can choose reference files from same car, other cars, or other players (files have to be exchanged manually)

I don't know what you mean by billboard
You'll need an AI line crossing start & finish lines (as explained here)
Then you can use the app to find spline position of start & finish
Then in (recent) ACSM you can set speed traps on (start and) finish
ACSM will record those speed trap values in "Time Attack" mode

Smooth delta timing + reset car to track key

In previous releases delta time was jittery, this is now fixed & smooth.
By default delta time will show 2 digits (hundredths of a second), can be configured from 1 to 3 digits.
A key to reset the car to the track can now be configured in the app settings in CM.

Added DR2 - style progress bar with split timing. Split notifications will briefly show the (total) difference compared to the reference time when a split is passed; splits sections are colored green/red if faster/slower. The number of splits & other settings can be tuned in Python app settings

v1.60 - auto save replay per run & several other fixes

A replay clip for every run is now saved automatically into RallyTiming\replays folder, trimmed (by default) to 3s before start until 2s after finish. This margin can be set in app options (or replay saving disabled altogether).

Do make sure max replay file size is large enough in AC > miscellaneous settings, especially when racing online as those replay files get larger.

The replay files are kept in sync with the .refl files containing detailed timing information per run; when slower...

• max replay file size will now automatically be increased to 1GB if smaller (setting found in in AC > miscellaneous settings)
  This is needed as a buffer to make the replay clip saving work correcly; for long online sessions it may have to be even larger
• the "spline position" of the startline of the last used track is now visible in app settings, to avoid having to search in json file. This value has to be entered as speed trap position in ACSM
• when first using the app windows...

We're just using a CSP function, and it's only possible offline in practice of hotlap. A workaround for races is adding teleport locations to the track
