Kunos Simulazioni, by way of the Steam DLC store page, have revealed the second instalment of their three part Porsche DLC extravaganza is due to release on the 22nd November, adding an additional seven new Porsche cars across nine configurations to the title - including the 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship and Le Mans 24 Hour winning 919 Hybrid.

The latest information comes hot on the heels of the imminent arrival of Volume One tomorrow afternoon, and no doubt comes as good news to fans eager to take in yet more Porsche content for Assetto Corsa.

Much like the first Porsche instalment, Volume Two caters for plenty of different tastes as it offers up gamers a nice choice of new, old, road and race cars from the German manufacturer. Models of note from Volume Two include Le Mans racers from the 80's, 90's and 00's in the form of the 962c, 911 GT1 and last years winner the 919 Hybrid respectively. Also included is perhaps one of the finest road going supercars ever created, the beautifully striking 911 GT3 RS. Automotive heaven...

Covered in Porsche Unleashed nostalgia right now after seeing the 911 GT1.
Wonder they'll give the 911R in the the third expansion. That car is brings together the best of two seemingly separate worlds. Feelsome (came up with the word right now) manual driving experience in a car with the latest Porsche competence. I really think that car should be in the expansion packs. Suddenly 21 cars doesn't seem a lot for one brand, does it.

Pack_3 will bring it home!
Don't understand pack_2 - there are so much better Porsche cars. Seasonpass won't be my choice.

is that cayman gt4 a real gt4 race class? or just another name gt4?

The name might make you think this is a GT4 class car... but it isn't. It is "just" the entry level single maker cup race car for Porsche. But then again, their entry level car has 385bhp, 420Nm of natural aspirated torque and 1300kg of lightweight perfectly balanced and neutral handling chassis.

Trust me when I say that this is one of the most fun and balanced cars I've ever had the privilege to drive, this is going to be THE single maker race car for multiplayer. Predictable, easy to race, fun but also rewarding on the limit and not without its own quirks and... character.
Trust the front end grip too much and keep pushing from the early laps of a race, then find yourself wondering how did the front tyres wear out so fast.
Make an extreme setup to gain the last tenth of a second, then watch out the rear end becoming skittish on a bumpy track.
To be honest though, no need to mess around too much with this car. Just jump in and drive!

Oh and yes... it's not a GT4 class car as I said, but its laptimes are too close for comfort for the GT4 class
