Personally, I will just learn alone (UI and racing) and then race offline, compare times and slowly enter online races / leagues.

I want to try out the Porsche 911 GT3 R at the Nürburgring in the rain.

just pick one car and track (most likely Merc or Bentley on Spa or Brands in the evening) and test if FFB is better and how much physics are different compared to AC.
Than, if both are amazing, I`ll start to wish I could drive LMP car on Nords, so I wil go do that in R3E .. that will make me wanna drive AJR in AMS which I`m gonna get stuck with for a while .. eventually I`ll be back testing other aspect of ACC

Yes I spend 1000,s of hrs making 3D its my job,
you work for free too ?
can not understand what the issues is with people,
