Note, iam guessing here:

As 42 is not an in car either ( my number) i assume a RDP car set in the works and then it wont matter as you can add cars or teams as you please.

If you have selected a number you need to make and upload a skin to RD and it will get added to a skinpack for ARCA.
If you dont want to make a skin just select one of the ingame cars/number and use that instead.

Will there be a naming system for the skin files?
Like RDxx (xx being the number) eg RD9.dds or RD88.dds

Correct. You do not need to do that tho as I will edit all the skins for entry into the pack.

Team Manager G Hickling comments. "Lee has been with us for a few seasons now and he is improving every season, Lee was lucky enough to grab a new sponsor this season in the form of Crocs footware. We hope with this fantastic backing Lee will strive this season and push for top placed finishes in all of the events he will run in."

79 Burger King Dodge of Gareth Hickling

Team Manager G Hickling comments. "As team owner and driver of the Burgerking Dodge I am happy to announce that the 79 car will be running an alternate sponsor in half the races in the up and coming RaceDepartment ARCA series. I am happy to announce Amnesty International will be on my car to show support for superb work protecting human rights around the world they do.
I expect to be pushing for the top half of the field for every event of the season, I feel that im better at the 1.5 mile speedways like Kansas, Kentucky and alike so I expect to do well there.

Can you do 2 skinz per car?

I like to enter my Lime green and the red one, or is that going to be to much of a hassle?

Yep you can do extra skins but lets keep it to a max of 3. So 2 in the extra skins folder.

But what i also meant is that if you have a nr. that's already in the game as a car, will you overwrite the skin or make a new one under the sam nr?

When the skin is entered into the skinpack it will have an RD prefix on the number so it wont overwrite an original skin
