F1 2011 Anybody using Trackir 5

If so, Can anybody help me, im trying to work out, a way of restricting the up down movments And left and right using trackir software
Also how far can you move your head from Left to right?

if u want to change those settings u need to do that in the trackir5 settings
just disable forward movement and any unwanted behaviour

i made a nice profile for F1 2011 u might want to have it
if u role your head its like u hit the side of the head safety brace something ?.. dont know how they call it.

make a new profile called F1 2011
open the profile with note pad and paste this into your profile, u can find profiles in your trackir5 installation folder.

hope it suits your needs

i disabled trackir cause i couldnt find a right setup in F1 2010
cause of the up/down movement i ended up only seeing the steering wheel with no clue where i was going,
when u asked for a setup i figured i might try with F1 2011 and i think its pretty good the way it is now.
no unrealistic movement like u could see the brake pads or almost kiss the tarmac.
i think this is pretty close to realistic driver movement

Thanks Speedometer, I am going to try this one .......

By the way, here's something worth remembering, bearing in mind that TrackIR use 3 infra-red reflectors (or lights with the pro-clip), to track your head movements ....... er .... try NOT to smoke if you are a smoker.

So MANY times I am happily driving along, and then when I drag on the cigarette, the IR Sensor sees this as a hotter spot than one of the other reflectors, and the screen may flip upside down, or you end up looking at some random part of the sky. This lasts a few seconds and is especially disconcerting when approaching corners .....

but i do not smoke and drive
i pause the game while in pitstop or during training at the driver times screen.

Yeah, online I try and get a nice early hot lap in, so I can sit in the pit watching the timing screen, partaking in my guilty pleasure ..... and you ARE made to feel guilty nowadays .....
