Hilmer Motorsport have today confirmed their first driver for the 2014 GP2 season will be Daniel Abt.
The pairing will mark the first time a German driver has competed for a German team in the GP2 single-seater category.
Abt has had a difficult season with ART this season, and was comfortably outscored by teammate James Calado, however Abt had impressed the Hilmer team during testing in Abu Dhabi earlier this month.
