Thanks. Never thought i'd be making modifications to my first rig already but this shifter requires it. The process wasn't as scary as i first thought once i had my plan figured out. I should probably show how i did it for anyone thinking of buying this shifter. I'm just waiting on my replacement seat from GT Omega and monitor stand which should come in the next week and i think i'll be set.

Yeah its a great piece of kit, glad i purchased it. But there are 2 downsides. Really one to be honest, just being picky

1. This thing is solid and requires a solid mount. I own a GT OMEGA rig and this thing is so solid i have needed 2 replacement shifter mounts because they snapped off. Yes its SOLID. That however is more a negative of GT OMEGA and their poorly constructed mounts.

2. I wish there was more tactile feel when i shift gears. It give off a click but with my head phones i wont hear it. Now i rarely miss shifts because i know the required force to shift up and down but a "clunck" would be nice.

Yea that is what concerning me mate..I'm VR too.

It's a nice size, the Manufactory is the one but mega bucks

I've owned a Frex sequential for years and it has a very nice *clunk* into gear feeling. I'm 100% with headphones and there's no question. My 4 year old watches me and when I'm done he jumps in to play and gives it a good reef and half the time he doesn't actually click the switch anyways.
Definitely not bashing DSD in any way! Just sharing experience. In no way was anyone making those beautiful extended shifters when I made my purchase.
