If you're a Porsche lover, it's nice to get back to the roots of where the legendary 911 gets it's heritage from. Let's take it out for two 20 minute races.

A message to all Drivers
If you run off track, you have to check and see that its clear before you re-enter the track. Do not just keep the gas pinned and pull back on track.
When entering the track from the pits stay off the racing line until you are up to speed and do not race on your out lap. Let other drivers by in qualifying.
On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car. Remember, you've made the mistake by going off so let them by cleanly.
Golden Rule
  1. Be 100% sure it's not your fault and just carry on like nothing happened and take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Play on the safe side and wait for the affected drivers, knowing 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a complete lift of the gas please if it is safe to do so.
    You will be penalized if you break our rules

Yes, Porsche may have started from very humble beginnings (starting a brand new car manufacturing business right the moment after WW2 from a little bit more than nothing they had to start small with close relation to Ferdinand Porsche developed VW tech and very limited materials yet with utmost ingenuity from the very start).

Right at the very end of the 50’s and into the very early 60’s Porsche was already established as the race winning David, beating Goliath with minuscule, lightweight and ingeniously advanced race cars that were developed in neck breaking pace (virtually none of the cars stayed the same for more than a few races and usually was continuously developed).

Btw. That very quadcam engine is quite a bit famous - Porsche used this DOHC design o. This engine a whole decade in a production car than ANY of the established car manufacturers even considered to do the same, many even not doing so a full 20 years later. Porsche was always about exotic materials and cutting edge technology.

The Volkswagen heritage and long evolving familiar shape of the 356 and 911 betray really what went on under the skin ;-)

I am so very much looking forward to run these beauties and truly hope that @Bobby Pennington finally comes to her senses and makes the Porsche 356 Carrera a steadfast fixture in weekly club racing events - this car really deserves it like no other!

I wish there was a Beer Boot button, because this one deserves it (as does your next one). I'm a fan as well, and their history is fantastic. Dr. Ferdinand's personal history was one of those things that, when I read about it and went deep into it, I was floored by how much of a genius (in the original sense of the word) he was. Now let's trash some virtual cars in his honour!

Yes, Dr.Ferdinand Porsche is one of my all-time engineering super heroes. What he has accomplished in a single lifetime is extraordinary and makes a very big part of why I love Porsche so much. Just look at every single first product he has developed - all of them were cutting edge designs with him thinking completely out of the box compared to established designs of their time. He also had the very fascinating gift to surround himself and his family with the most gifted and able engineers and business partners - there wasn't a single lemon product over the entire time involved with the Porsche name which is exceptional.

And in developing news, it has just been brought to my attention that Hurricane Dirk has wiped out next weeks 356 race and there will be an Audi race in it's place.
