Shaun Clarke, known in the Assetto Corsa modding community for his popular tin top cars, has sadly passed away.

We received word today that talented, hardworking and well-respected community member Shaun Clarke, known for such Assetto Corsa mods as the Seat Leon TCR and the Ginetta Supercup and GT4 cars, has passed away.

Shaun was known as a warm and friendly person throughout the sim racing community, and always appreciated the feedback he received on the mods he worked so hard to give us.

The RaceDepartment team wishes to pass along our sincerest condolences to Shaun’s family and friends and wished them strength in this difficult time. Shaun’s legacy in the sim racing world will live on through his mods, many of which can be found on his RaceDepartment profile page.

Rest in peace, Shaun Clarke.

There's no much to say, i was informed of it via GTP forum and it's very sad to hear it. Shaun was a huble guy, always kind and respectful. Thanks for all you did for us with you mods, sincere condolences to his family and friends. Rest in speed Shaun

This is terrible news. I just saw a Random Callsign video scheduled for later today 'RIP Shaun Clarke' and wondered what had happened. His mods were great and I still drive his Ginettas. Sad day indeed and condolences to his family.

Rest In Peace boss. The team he founded and leaded with enthusiasm until the last minute of his life want to thank all simracing community the support and love showed to Shaun.

When i first saw the title I thought it was a feature on Shaun. I really loved his mods, I was sad that he seemed to have moved on from here some time ago & thought about contacting him about his mods to see what he was up to. I hope his family & close friends understand the positive things he did with his modding & the joy that brings for others.

Rest in Paradise Shaun and thank you for the wonderful mods you've made.

This is truly a shock. He has made numerous contributions to the sim racing community, whether that be through mods, supporting other modders and previously, founding and managing a top level racing team, Triple 7 Racing, or T7R for short as they were usually known back then. A team that regularly fought at the front, winning numerous races and championships along the way, and that was always highly regarded and respected in the Live For Speed community. I remember reaching out to him back then with aspirations to join the team.

Shaun was a true gentleman and a great guy.

May he rest in peace and may his family find peace and comfort in each other in this difficult time.

Rest in peace Shaun. You'll be greatly missing. Thank you for you support. Love and condolences to your family ❤️

Very saddening news. I still have some of his work on my pc. Always so tragic to hear someone pass at such a young age and especially of a similar age. Does anyone know what was the cause?
Rip Shaun.
