Shaun Clarke, known in the Assetto Corsa modding community for his popular tin top cars, has sadly passed away.

We received word today that talented, hardworking and well-respected community member Shaun Clarke, known for such Assetto Corsa mods as the Seat Leon TCR and the Ginetta Supercup and GT4 cars, has passed away.

Shaun was known as a warm and friendly person throughout the sim racing community, and always appreciated the feedback he received on the mods he worked so hard to give us.

The RaceDepartment team wishes to pass along our sincerest condolences to Shaun’s family and friends and wished them strength in this difficult time. Shaun’s legacy in the sim racing world will live on through his mods, many of which can be found on his RaceDepartment profile page.

Rest in peace, Shaun Clarke.

Wow, this caught me off guard. Been following Shaun's work for a while now. Rest In Peace Shaun, you will be missed more than you could have imagined. My thoughts are with his family.

I had tried his Seat Leon TCR 2018 mod and for me it is one of the best mods in AC communıty. Rest in Peace Shaun Clarke.

Have known of him for over 30 years as he was part of the Fairlight group who made wicked music demos on the commodore amiga ( as well oas being one of the largest cracking groups ) . I used to speak to him in the early hours to spur him on while making the Ginetta mod for assetto corsa and share many stories from the eary 90's cracking scene. very sad day for the community . Not posted on here for sometime but heard about Shaun passing this morning, so had to come over and pay my respects. R.I.P Shaun, thank you for all your amazing Mod

Rip shaun The Ginetta mods are one of the best AC racecar mods! Radical SR3 also really perfect! we will remember him 4ever:cry:

Damn, when I started sim-racing, Shaun's mods were always of great quality. Thanks to his work with Pessio bring the Mini Challenge F56, he was also part of my first championship race.

Thanks Shaun for all the enjoyment and content you've brought out for us all to enjoy. Thoughts are with your family and friends.

RIP Shaun, Condolences to your family. Im now away to run an endurance race around silverstone using your epic BTCC mod in memory of your kind self. Your BTCC mod is the reason i started following it from the start of this season, spent numerous endless nights(annoyed my other half doing so!) creating custom "what if" liveries for BTCC and will continue to do so.
