The new joint venture will be based in the USA, the first stage being the creation of a sim racing area inside the Indiana Convention Center.
During the NBA All-Star 2024 Crossover interactive experience and live music event later this month, visitors will be able to drive in Assetto Corsa Competizione and compete to set the best time.
This is claimed to be just the beginning, with the company aiming to become “a global leader in the development of advanced sim racing technologies.”
“Our shared vision for Indianapolis as a global hub for Esports and sim racing is now a reality. We’re confident this partnership will increase workforce within academia, tech, and event hospitality in the state of Indiana,” said Alessio Cicolari, CEO of Dallara-AK Esports.
“For more than 50 years, the Dallara brand has been synonymous with motor racing, continually manufacturing racing cars at the sport’s highest level and constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible,” said Andrea Pontremoli, CEO of Dallara.
“We are thrilled to continue this journey by partnering with AK Informatica to blend the virtual world of sim racing with the thrilling reality of motorsport.”

What follows the NBA event is not yet clear, although last year the two companies did announce work together on a motion simulator.
The Tech & Sym Virtuoso Simulator debuted at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and is built around a carbon fibre chassis made by Dallara. AK also worked on an Assetto Corsa-utilising sim racing championship for Dallara in the past.
