The famed street circuit now has a release date, plus a Ferrari livery pack will be launched simultaneously.

Following the announcement that, at last, Circuit de Pau-Ville will be making its way to RaceRoom, we can now confirm the release date – Monday 25th March 2024.
The free-to-enter sim racing platform had changed its plans last year, instead of releasing the narrow confines of the historic track it focused on an updated tyre model and the DTM 2023 DLC pack.
Perhaps best known for holding the Pau Grand Prix, the vaunted venue features an extremely tight hairpin (Lycee) plus a narrow chicane near the end of the lap.
It is also a point of difference for the free-to-enter simulation, with Pau absent from contemporary sim racing platforms. This is RaceRoom’s forte, following the likes of the previously released Charade.
This car was initially released last year for RaceRoom drivers, as part of the 2023-season DTM content. Consequently, however, it was only stickered with Emil Frey Racing’s design from that specific competition.
That will now change, with the option of 19 designs from diverse real-world competitions. Liveries from events such as the 24hr Series and the race-winning Frikadelli Racing Nürburgring 24 Hours entry.
Alongside the fresh designs, it means the 296 will become available within the platform’s GTR 3 class, and not tied purely to the DTM.
Pricing for the liveries is not yet confirmed, although typically they are around $0.32/£0.25 each (or equivalent vRP), with the bundle bringing the cost per unit down. The version of this car within the DTM category is priced at $5.42/£4.25, we expect something similar within GTR 3 plus any additional designs.
