Forza Horizon 5 will introduce a racetrack to its map as well as a new Lamborghini and two Porsche supercars in its latest update titled High Performance.

Forza Horizon 5‘s upcoming May Festival Playlist is just around the corner. Starting on 27 April, the High Performance update will bring a major map change to the Horizon Stadium. Also joining the game are four new cars, each fitting of the High Performance name.
All was unveiled during the 21 April Forza Monthly livestream. The team at Playground Games revealed all the content coming with the new festival playlist. Here’s everything coming with the update this upcoming Friday!
For all intents and purposes, the STO is a road legal version of the car featuring in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo. Its 5.2-litre V10 goes from having 602 to 631 horsepower, and unlike the regular Huracán it sends all that power to the rear wheels.
For the second week, scoring 20 points will see players gain access to the Porsche 935. The modern-day homage to the famous FIA Group 5 935/78 race car (also known as “Moby Dick”) is based on the 991 GT2 RS. Its 3.8-litre twin-turbo Flat-6 produces 700 horsepower.
The car up for grabs in the third week is the 2021 Audi RS6 Avant, the estate/station wagon version of the regular RS6. It may have a smaller engine than past iterations of the RS6, but its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 manages to produce 591 horsepower. More than previous versions with bigger engines.
But perhaps the most sought after car beyond the Huracán becomes accessible in the fourth week of the event. The all-electric Porsche Mission R has already appeared in the likes of iRacing and Rennsport. It has a power output of over 1,000 horsepower thanks to its two electric motors.
Whilst all these cars are earned by collecting 20 points in each week of the series, further cars can be acquired through collecting points. If a player earns 80 points over the entire playlist, they can drive the Ferrari 599XX. If they get 160 points, they get to drive the McLaren F1. Many more feature as rewards in the playlist as well.
The Forza Horizon games are the open-road equivalent to the track-based Forza Motorsport games. But this marks the first time that the Horizon series features a racetrack on its map. The stadium will only temporarily take the form of the oval in the free road mode for the duration of the High Performance festival playlist starting 27 April. After that, the track will still be available to drive, albeit only in races.
With Forza Horizon 5 taking place in Mexico, the track’s inspiration is most likely the half-mile Potosino circuit that hosts the NASCAR Mexico Series.
