Being available since 2018, Assetto Corsa Competizione has become one of the most renowned sims on the market. But with all the DLC packs that have been released, one may wonder what is worth getting. Our guide is here to help.

As of April 2024, the sum total of Assetto Corsa Competizione update packs available on Steam is nine. It may be quite daunting to see all of it and not knowing what to buy, and you cannot default to free mods either. Since unlike its older cousin Assetto Corsa, there are no mods for ACC.

So for those wondering what content is in which DLC pack, here is our guide to helping you figure out what is worth picking up for Assetto Corsa Competizione, the official game of the GT World Challenge and other SRO Motorsports Group series.

ACC is the "Texas hold 'em" of simracing: either fold or go 'All In.'

That is, any simracer who connects with ACC ought to simply buy all of its available DLC.
True. I for one did that.

iRacing on the other hand, what is a good phrase that is the opposite of "Texas hold 'em"?

iRacing is better known as "The Money Pit" ... or, as the saying goes:

"How much does iRacing cost, sir?"
"Well, dear boy, if you have to ask...."

Jokes aside, even iRacing is worth the price for those simracers who derive the requisite amount of value from the service.

BTW, @Luca (OverTake) , looks like screenshots were taken in HDR mode as they look severely undersaturated.
Same happened with screenshots in other ACC articles.

For me the tracks are worth it if I enjoy them... Nords is an instant purchase as it is in any title...

But the cars... They feel like buying a mod pack for a league event that you know is going to be a one off event... I'll be lucky to get a couple of months use out of them... As I don't do offline in ACC at all and it's rare to see leagues do anything but GT3 in ACC...

Am I the only person - at least in games - who doesn't like Mount Panorama and the Nordschleife?

I usually like any and all tracks due to them all just being a series of corners and straights with their own challenges, style, etc. but something about that downhill middle section (after the 2 fast, sweeping lefts) at Mount Panorama rubs me the wrong way. The Nordschleife, on the other hand, just has way too many corners. I like tracks that have tons of corners if they're a point-to-point kind of track - sure - but for a "regular lapping" track, it doesn't interest me no matter how many times I race it.

Of course the tracks are amazing in real life though (especially the Nordschleife), don't get me wrong.

Far from it, at least from what I hear time and time again. Bathurst in particular seems to be a black box for many. Personally, I enjoy both a ton, but I can also see why you wouldn't. I think both are circuits where it has to just click at some point, but it won't for everybody.

Learning the Nordschleife, for instance, felt like a chore in the very beginning, but it grew a lot on me. Getting to the point where you can comfortably push for better laps is likely a key thing, same for Bathurst. To me, absolutely nailing the run up and down the hill - so basically the middle sector - is about as thrilling as it gets. But it's also easy to slap the wall big time if you make a slight mistake.

I have 32492.3km on Nords. in AC :D it is my favorite! Every car I want to test I test it there since if car passes that I am sure I will enjoy it on any other track. Especially of those downhills and up hills. It really is a track to test every aspect of the car since it have all of it. I however do understand you. Monza for example is fast and short for lapping BUT satisfaction is not there except nailing that turn one perfectly LOL Mount P. is just crazy especially that downhill curvy section LOL (how many crushes did I have...) Nords. is hard to love but if you let it show you what it is you will never want anything else! And those 24km are also hard on brain since staying focused is a challenge following thru all those turns and braking points (so many spins on the last turn when you think I am thru now full gas LOL). Do a challenge and take 5-10 of your best/fav cars and do a fastest lap in each of them on nords and tell me again if your opinion changed ;)

Just one remark, I don't think that the Ferrari 488 Challenge car had the GT3 moniker ever.
