Just had someone else say the same thing :) . I'll be slowing down soon but while I have my ankle injury it's giving me something to do and I must say its highly addictive getting it just right. Love the video, just watched on the 4k telly and it looks brilliant! I'll be posting my rework of the mid and heavy cloud weathers soon, would love to see one of your video's with them, especially the heavy cloud one, think it would look awesome!
Thanks! I used the Natural Weather Mod as my base to start from considering he had done such a great job. Using my own weathers now though as I found the originals cause a few graphical issues with my filter such as clouds looking fake in certain weather among other things, plus doing the weathers as well gives you a lot more control! Hats off to Mr Kennedy though for his fantastic work. I'm coming across more and more things I still need to fix so i've still got a long way to go but I think its definitely one of the better graphics mods out there in my opinion :)
Cheers fella, only been working on it for the last week but as i'm currently stuck at home due to an injury I think it's coming along nicely. Every cloud has a silver lining :)
Thank you :) I'm currently going through the different weathers to get them just right so hopefully should have some improvements to look forward to later on today :)
Sorry to hear that, i'm not suffering from any of these things and from the look of the other reviews no one else is either. Are you getting the look of what's in the photo's and videos because if not perhaps you havent installed correctly or havent got your TV/monitor calibrated correctly? Also, think 1 star is a little harsh considering the time and effort ive put into this...
Great improvements! New filter is warmer than the last :) Glare effects are still great, very subtle. Would be nice to also have a version where the cockpit isnt so dark, but this is still great. Thanks for all your efforts.
Today I'm going to try and get the colours a little more realistic but in the process I'll see what I can do with the in car lighting. I've been using the bonnet cam to set the brightness and contrast for the tracks as different cockpits means variation in testing which interferes with tests and I want to get it so you can use just one filter and not have to keep changing. I'll try and improve it but don't want to take anything away from the nice contrast I've managed to achieve elsewhere... Nevertheless I'll see what I can do so watch this space :)
after the PP update you are the only one who got the perfect filter without bs sweatfx. thank you so much - even the glare WOW - looks so well 10/10 ^_^
Glad you like, really coming along nicely. Will be carrying on today so may have a few minor updates later. As for the car shake config ive included images on this page of the setup in the AC menu along with my setup in Real Head Motion (fantastic mod is used subtly and/or if you do a lot of drifting)
I don't usually do filter mods as Kunos are usually enough for me with my under powered GFX card, but I tried this, and WOW, OH WOW, simply put, nothing more to add !!!!
Cheers mate! Hurt my ankle recently so been on the couch all day doing this and think its paid off. The appreciation strives me on to improve it so thank you, its much appreciated :)
Thanks! So pleased with how it looks now and surprised on how much you can get out of just the filter. I'd be surprised if I can make any more major leaps forward like I did with the last update but have already adjusted the colours and brightness a tad so will keep tweaking to see if we can get it any better :)
This must be the best filter I have used to date and i think part of this is due to a good understanding of what post-processing is (from your part). Contrast is spot on. When going around the Ring at 18:00 the transitions between sunny and shady parts is just superb. I personally tweaked the color temperature a tad more towards neutral (it seemed a little cold), but that's just a preference. Thank you !
Cheers fella! Yeah the colour temp is something im working on at the moment. The cooler temperature gives a nice look to the ambient light during bright daylight but i'd prefer the rest of the colours to be a little warmer. As the filters can only do so much it's just trying to find that balance unless I can somehow achieve that ambient light colour by another means... May start playing with the weathers once I learn a bit more about how it all works
