Presenting the Swedish V8 Thunder Cars championship! This is where the modern TA2 car began back in 2009.
Today, the Swedish series has since forever reached cult status among Swedish motorsport enthusiasts, and while sometimes it seems like times are bad, it always bounces back with good grid numbers.
This batch includes the #46 of Anders Gustavson and #47 of Johan Blomberg from the 2023 season. Gustavson became champion in the "Super Star" sub-category, meaning drivers above 45 years of age. The team is based in Norrköping and has been part of the Swedish amateur motorsport landscape for decades.
What inspired them to run a neon-coloured #46 is a mystery.
