It's not realistic to use it. I also have no idea why that bit of asphalt is even there :p There is no pitlane, etc.
But sure, I'll add it to the to-do list. I can make the runoff at Meeuwenmeer into a pitlane of some sorts.

Yes, everything you see is built from scratch using accurate height data and a couple of thousand reference photo's shot by myself :)
Textures for buildings, track side objects, etc are also made by myself. Textures for grass, sand, trees, etc originate from stock footage and will most likely - one day - be replaced by my own.

Thank you! I'll try and get V0.5 up as soon as possible. It has quite some improvements done to it.

Being someone from Assen makes it such a joy to drive especially when the track is so well made. There are a lot of mods of certain tracks that are just bad or old so that's really amazing. Also fun: I can see some fields of the farm where Iived earlier out of helicopter mode so that is really cool. (and the police tower in Assen)

Being a Belgian I like the tracks of the Netherlands and Belgium, I'm still short of an official Zolder circuit (for now I'm stuck with the decent conversion). Any interest? =)

Thank you so much for this track! I hear this track every day, it's almost my backyard (1500 meters away). Did some laps there IRL last week at track day, and I wanted to relive that feeling in a sim. So, found your track for AC, I really love the feel of the track with BMW, like they race there. Awesome, thanks!

Great track. As a Dutchman it's great to be able to get to know the track before going there. Track definitely needs some more work, but i'm looking forward to following the process.

Love Assen, one of my favourite circuits and this mod has done it justice! Would love to see a build for the track configuration that was used until the end of 2005 which is up there as one of my all time favourite tracks.

As much as I would like to make the pre-2005 version, the amount of time it requires is simply not realistic. There is a version on GTPlanet, although it's not that accurate in terms of bankings. But it's fun nontheless and it's great that we can drive it anyway.

Is there a chance for some "normal" sized track ? Under 100 mb, say... :)

They are 633Mb each. The zip file (V0.5) is for both tracks so 300Mb isn't too bad then :p
I am reuploading them for multiplayer use and will use seperate resources from now on (~150Mb per rar file).

*its been 5 years* realy great update loving it rn my dad is a marshal on tt circuit but there a small problem im getting small lag spikes (i dont have the greatest gaming setup since i use a laptop with wheel) but idk if it can be fixed
