Cool, but how can I record maps? a.e. I have Monaco and the map there is very crappy. How can I record a new one?

start hotlap mode, click on the "circle icon", do a full (clean) lap. You will see your track marked as red. When the lap is completed, you will get a notice. Afterwards click on the save button.

same problem here with the new win10 update,... i need to start ac 2 or 3 times before track maps is visible in de app list....

really good for replacing missing track layouts , but ... I would like the track layouts to be the same resolution as the default ones. The layouts it records are great.. just not big enough. is there a way to increase the resolution of them to match the originals please ?

There is a file called map_display.ini neighbored to map_display.py. Search for [PNG_GENERATION] and increase the value size = 1024 to 2048 or whatever you like. You probably have to increase line_width = 3 as well.

Very good and useful but the only "problem" is the size of the map. Just litte too small in 1920x1080.

Can't record tracks, it is fully compatible with Assetto 1.2??

It should still be working - I realized that the red line stops at some time (because AC lowered the limit of maximum points of a line), but the recording goes on (you can see that the upper right icon does not disappear).

Great app, far more useful than stock app and its customiseable.
4 out of 5 stars as the install and usage documentation is very spare, and it's not intuitive to get it working. (read the support comments if you have problems, it's what I had to do to get it working. (I still don't fully know yet how to customise it as its not very well doc'd Yet..
Still easy to get working if u also realise you need to enable it in the game options in AC (and u copy files to correct place)....

Would get 5 stars except author hasn't given CLEAR instructions. For those baffled about how to install, place files as directed THEN with Assetto open go to general options and make sure to tick UI/mods section where it shows map overlay red box.

its helpful for large maps but randomly the map moves when im driving which is pretty annoying

Or you could just delete the map.png from a track with a bad map and Assetto Corsa generates a new one for you the next time you load the track... If for some reason that isn't working for all the tracks you need then this is handy.

Since 1.14 the app isn't in the toolbar all the time. By driving Nordschleife the app is missing often

I used to love this app, but sadly it stopped working with the release of the 3rd dreampack. If you're wondering if it's been fixed yet, know that the latest update must be newer than this comment.

It is working for me. You might be tricked by another app or you have a problem on your system. It would be nice to report issues on the support forum and not on the review page.
So please post your logs <documents>/Assetto Corsa/logs in the support page.

Bad, dont explain anything had to google videos to learn you have to turn it on in setting and apps, and after that the map is so tiny and not contrasted so you cant even see the damn map anyways

by using it, the race selected with my "content manager" software never loads, even in hotlap or there is only one car to load. So trash this app
