RealityFilter 3.0 PRO

Optimizations done to :


- Color grading ( color corrected vegetation )

- Night time visibility

- Sol and Pure look match

- More realistic VAO​

Now in order to apply RealityFilter you only need to select the RealityFilter ppfilter and both Sol and Pure configs will automatically apply, no need to apply custom presets.

Make sure to reset Pure to it´s defaults and save it afterwards.

- Night exposure is corrected to work with the latest Pure version.
This will only affect Pure users and you only need to select the pure preset to apply this patch

- Color grading file included

The filter will now have lossless contrast, meaning, it will have that punchy contrast, but it will preserve the details in the very dark areas, leading to better detail overall and better night visibility​

Why doing this?

Because now you only need 1 ppfilter for both sol and pure, just select RealityFilter 2.0 and you can choose what to use​

Found a setting that wasnt adjusted correctly, i think the filter itself looks the same, but a slight change in exposure/contrast is possible

This is probably the last update until the final stable release, just giving it some final touches.

Hello guys, I bring big news this time !!

In this update I bring compatibility with Sol , so, no matter what you use ( Sol or Pure ), you can still enjoy RealityFilter.​

Pre-Installation ( Sol and Pure)

Do not skip this step !!


- To perform a clean install Im going to ask you
to delete the old RealityFilter files to avoid bugs,
delete everything that is Realityfilter related in this
directories :

assettocorsa\system\cfg\ppfilters

assettocorsa\system\cfg\ppfilters\pure_scripts

assettocorsa\extension\config-ext\Pure

assettocorsa\extension\config-ext\Pure\scriptsettings

Sol installation

- After dropping the zip into Content Manager
simply choose the RealityFilter Sol ppfilter and
the script will automatically apply the settings for Sol

Pure installation

- This will be the same procedure as always,
open the Pure Config app, select the RealityFilter preset
- Hit save and you are good to go



HDR Users


- HDR is now automatic, meaning, if you
have the HDR settings enabled in the game video
settings, the filter automatically switches to HDR


My thoughts

I adjusted both Pure and Sol Filters to have the
same look, but since they use different lights systems, light will react a bit different specially at night.
After diving into Sol settings I found that Sol might be actually slightly better overall compared to Pure, despite the fact that Pure calculates light more "correctly" i think that Sol has a bit more of a brighter look in the dark instead of pitch black like in Pure, being a bit easier to see.
During the day they are very similar, but I still like the look of Sol a bit better, it has a bit more of a bloomy look which i like more.

I recommend to use Sol despite being compatible with both
