Really enjoying the feel of this changes the game, thank you very much for breathing some new life back into PC2.

Its still such a great game with loads and loads of content to enjoy and to be fair the graphics still are amazing even today, my top pick for VR immersion period!

Again, amazing work!! Been toying/testing it all day :D

Love that you can determine the amount of LSFB yourself as I don't like having having as much FFB on slow corners as on fast (despite the benefits; it doesn't feel fun/natural to me).

My only 'critique' is that the roadfeel here is quite muted for my taste. I boosted the kerb to a 100 and i still don't get that satisfying high freq rumble when going over the kerbs. Also going off track completely is a bit muted in the FFB. Can I change something in the file for this? Or could it be the combination of my settings below?

My settings (TRS300):

Gain 100 (to max roadfeel)
Volume 95
Tone 40 (around 25 for GT3 cars)
FX 100 (the carcass gives me way better information on oversteer)
Kerb user variable: 100
Engine volume: 40
ABS/TC: 1.0 (on)

Tested with different car types and tracks (vintage to modern)

Will donate to you soon as this is something very special!

Todays update includes the 2nd version update for the T300 as we had discussed.

I appreciate the + review and I really appreciate the feedback. User feedback has always helped me make this even better... Message me and we can discuss the kerbs and road-feel. I have too many questions to ask here, but I’m glad you are still enjoying it... on my setup I can have very harsh kerbs, grass, and real road feel. I just need more information.
Saw this on youtube by Scaff.
And must agree this is like I got a new sim.
Really great job!
Brilliant.

Simply the best Custom FFB I have ever tested in PC2 and that allows me to enjoy even further the Game after all these years.
Level of felt road details, the sense of the car physics are perfectly meeting together for a great driving experience with the several cars I have driven.

very well done!
Superb FFB for PC2.
I was using this with my TX, and looking forward to trying it with my new TS-XW.

I am really glad to hear that you like it and it is working well with a Thurstmast TX; I think that's another variant of the T300. I have a feeling (from my testers) the higher you go with the wheelbase the better all the pure physics detail will feel. Thanks again!
A game changer for my TS PC Racer. Amazing job! I wasn't that annoyed by Pcars2 FFB but some cars did really not felt good, especially the classic powerful ones (no feeling of the turbo kicks, tame behaviour). This is solved with this mod. The Group 5 cars feel really similar to their Raceroom counterparts (the same with the Group C Prototypes), the F40 GTO is a real beast (the turbo really kicks hard, too hard, with this one!), all the cars feel more alive, more challenging but more predictable. Thank you for the hard work. I feel the differences of FFB strengths between cars much more than before but Pcars2 individual volume adjustment is easy to use. It is a mandatory mod.

The best Custom FFB so far for the usage with Logitech G-920, far less rattling, shaking and strange oszilations compared to other custom FFB files.

Please post your in-game and wheel base settings. Another user w a g920 on the SMS forums is having difficulty using my FFB.
rarely bother commenting, asking questions and especially reviewing; but man, you're a F'ing wizard; this completely transforms the game... i'd even go as far as to say that at least, if you hit a kerb now, or get one tyre off the track, the car doesn't spin out immediately, or rather, i'm able to catch it.

I've copied it for AMS2 as well, yet to test it out, i'll update when i have.

thank you sir, amazing work.

This is a great mod. Thanks!!

Less to no rattling with more feel throughout cornering.

*Still playing around with it, but this is good so far. For me, went this way to have no rattling of the gears.

Wheel: Logitech G29

Gain: 0

Volume: 50

Tone: 60

I have been running the PopsRacerFFB v.2021.10.11 - Full SOP Chassis Fy/Mz TONE SCALE (Logitech) custom setting and have found it to give an amazingly realistic feel on my Logi G27. I might amp up the kerb value a bit. Running 44 volume, 69 tone, and 79 FX currently but will try adjusting these to see if there are further improvements possible.

Great, thanks mate
Feels fantastic.........but, I get strong back and forth wheel movement when stopped with the engine stalled. If you start the engine the movement stops and all is well until you stop the engine again. Any idea what might be adjusted to stop this? It's a T300RS wheel.

Jimst57,
Yes, I fixed this in the later version, but I understand some like certain feels in previous versions. If you edit the text file towards the bottom of the text file is where the engine FX is. There you will need to add one line. It's the 2nd text line below w/ the "crossover crankshaft" statement. Copy & Paste that line between the other two lines in your FFB file. Save the file and restart the game. The engine FX when stalled or you run out of gas should be 99.9% better. You will still get some feedback when pressing the brake pedal or if you are in gear, but it is a LOT more acceptable.

(engine (* engine 0.15))
(engine (* engine (crossover crankshaft 0.0 100.0)))
(output (+ output engine))
Does actually feel good. Cheers.

Logitech G923 user here. I've just begun using this FFB MOD recently so I haven't got the settings dialed in just right so I'll update this review when I do but for anyone that has a G923 and hates playing PC2 because they can't feel anything, I recommend loading this mod up and just throwing all the in-game feedback settings to 100 and go for a quick drive of something. You'll instantly see that the wheel and steering feels heavy. The curbs are actually hard and the car can become light in the corners.
As I said, I'm still dialing in the correct settings for all those feedback options but it just shows you how much of a difference this setup can make.
Good - a lot better than the default files and the older Jack Spade files. Think it still needs a tad more feedback and the centre strength of the wheel is good but also ever slightly numb but I can pick up the back end going which is VERY good. Either way this FFB file is wayyyy better than all the others. Still not quite sure which of the files is supposed to be for the TS PC though - the mid\DD or t300 ones...
