"Leggero" means "light" in Italian, and this car has a moderately light weight of 1020 kg. A 1.6L inline 4-cylinder engine is mounted at the center of the compact body, which is less than 4m long, producing a maximum output of 193ps/7500rpm and a maximum torque of 19.8kgm (194Nm)/6500rpm.
In addition, by moving the engine mounting position closer to the center, the front and rear weight distribution is optimized and high dynamic performance can be achieved.
