This drives so exquisitely and the nuances between tyre compounds are "super cool", you can just sense the potential this has for long races against other human drivers. It fortunately doesn't drive like the virtua LM release but instead by what I've read, heard and watched.
I cannot understand the reviews of 3 stars or less, especially people who can't unpack this correctly or those like the automatic transmission guy who doesn't lift the throttle (it would be not just wrong but also cheating if the mod let you get away with that).
I loved the Ferrari 288 and can't wait for future material.

Top Mod, only a small correction: "Deutsche Rennwagen Meisterschaft" as a category is not correct. The designation should be "Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft" (DRM).

I wanted to post more detailed guidance on how to extract these files with 7-zip in case there are more like me that had trouble figuring it out. After you've downloaded IS0_GTPCAMS.7Z.001, 2, 3, AND 4 to the same location (I suggest just making a new folder), you need to use 7-zip to merge these four files. In the folder you created select (highlight) all four files and right click on them. Select "7-zip" and then "extract to "*\"". After 7-zip finishes merging these files , open the ISO_GTPCAMS folder and move the Gamedata and Series folder to your Automobilista directory.

Beautiful conversion! It's a pity that I dont hear the original music of the mod (which I composed back then for virtua_lm ;) ) but it's a must have mod for any platform. I hope to see it one day at assetto corsa as well

Excellent mod. For those who not know how to unpack a split archive file, google it. It's unfair to rate this 1 or even 3 stars if you don't know how to use a zipped file.

5 stars is not enough. This mod is incredible...a little tricky for me to install without help, but it is up and running and it is Awesome.

Whoa, easy, this Mod is better physics than vanilla?! Is it legal? Finally gone "jerking" of physics, especially of compression machines (compared to original). And compared to previous versions of the mod, the grip on the track has improved. (gone mad "scrollability")
The turbine is beyond praise!
It is very nice to sit behind the wheel of these monsters in the cabin quite comfortable. The view outside is not perfect, but the eye does not cut, everything is done with dignity.
And when once again took off on Le mans, very sorry that in the 1980s there was no laser scanning.
This is how physics should be in AMS. Thanks, guys.

6/5 stars, just for the physics alone. After this, it's nearly impossible to go back to the dreary understeer present in almost every similar car in AC. These cars move and squirm around as they should. They react to throttle input as they should. They react to setup changes as they should. Even my 7 year old (who is a great AC drifter) looked at me and said "Pa...this feels way better".
