Richard, thank you for this excellent mod. I am a huge Indy fan and find that AMS plays well with the 500 track. The sound is brilliant btw. My concern is trying to get all the competitors with the same settings, ie SW for Indy. I think this mod was builr for on line league use, but it seems to work well off line at Indy if I could get every driver on the same car setting. What do I need to do to make this happen. 1988 CART does not have this prob.. Thanks for all your work. Hot lapping at ISOs 1987 track is great.

Thank you! Regarding your question, maybe if you just select the indy 500 class cars, plus the regular speedway cars, it will work? Because the indy 500 class is just the one offs for indy.

This mod is an absolute masterpiece. I'm a huge CART/IndyCar fan and having a comprehensive list of cars from a whole season is incredible. Cars are a complete blast to throw around once you figure out how to drive them (many frustrating laps grinding gears when starting out!) Just wish there was a high quality version of Indianapolis out there for AMS....

This is the mod I am having the most fun with, across all of my racing sims. I was 10 years old for that years Indy 500, and I fell in love with the PC-17, so this is a sim dream come true. Would sure love to have the tracks to match the season though. I can't find those to save my life!

finally a mod that limits full throttle shifting! some are complaining, but it really adds to the realism of a classic mod. awesome work! the cars are great everywhere, but they really really show their luster on the ovals!

Gorgeous cars, great sound, and terrific choice of subject matter for this mod. Perfect complement to the CART Extreme mod.

Just brilliant. Graphically it's not brilliant from cockpit, but looks good from the outside, sounds fine, and physics are brilliant on every aspect. Lots of details in modelling cars for every round of the championship, each chasis/engine combo with a deep and defined character that makes them unique. And just terrific to push and throw around, no matter if on road course, street circuit, short ovals or big speedways. Lots of hours of fun await :)

These cars are a real challenge to drive. I wish there was an option to turn off the throttle lift haha. Is there any specific options for the AI?

Great to see another 1980s Indycar season represented! Two quick questions. I know ISO is an online league, and all updates are driven by that. Will we see the 1988 Season mod get a similar physics upgrade? Will we see the templates get released for both the 1988 and 1987 mods?

There is a few minor graphic glitches and clean up for the 1987 cars, but this is a blast to drive and great to see the full season

Thanks for puttings physics at the top of the list of your requirements. The feeling in these cars is great and I think your tire model is one of the best in AMS1.
I did change a couple of things as I think this mod is not for your average sim racer and not suited to offline-vs.AI championship. But the basis is excellent!

Unreal.Proper immersion.rFactor 1 mod was excellent by itself,now in AMS-Simply amazing.
The work put into this cannot be underrated.The skins are really nice and physics feel much better than rF1.No more nasty blowovers heh.The shifting is real nice.Turbo didn't dissapoint.We'll be waiting for more HSO.Cheers lads.

Once again an absolutely phenomenal piece of work!
Historical US series are admittedly not of great interest to me, but these cars are so immersive. Terrific fun to gradually get to grips with, and intuitive and believable at the limit!
