If youre talking about adding an racing flywheel you can just remove the inspection cover and the drivegear, remove the clutch and remove the old flywheel replacing with the new one.
If youre talking about the issues with the flywheel itself is: Don't even think about revving the engine cold to heat it up a bit, if you do there is a high change of destroying your engine, just pull the choke and let the car heat itself.
